Illustrator is a really fun tool to use for art. Making logos and pictures I had a really fun time with every part. Learning a new medium is challenging, learning where all the tools are and what they do. My boyfriend and I watched a few tutorials and figured most things out. It allows you to draw something and it will smooth out the lines very nice. I drew a fox outline and I was surprised at how perfectly soft it turned out. I also found the pen tool, which kind of does the same thing but with more options. The few things I had a hard time with was the paint bucket tool, trying to replicate the 3 professional logos was a challenge! I'm a clay artist so learning art on the computer is a new game. Illustrator is new and challenging, but I am up for any new medium of art. It's hard when you can't make exactly what you want because you don't know how to do it, so my over all feelings towards Illustrator are mostly good but I still have a ton to learn.
This is my fox, I got the idea off of Pinterest. I love the simplicity of the line made into an animal. The first time I saw I was taken aback, how easy and beautiful it was.
