Art pieces
This is my most recent piece. Made out of Sculpey sculpting clay, and almost 8 inches of snake I am about halfway in, the next step is finishing the details, then I'll bake it, paint it and put the final details on.
I made the snake head about 2 years ago, it has been sitting in my art box neatly tucked away. I tried to score the new clay with the old and the old stuff was too dry, so I added new clay by smearing the new clay on top of the old and from there scoring the head and the neck together.
The Elvis poster was made as a service project for my digital media class at UVU.
Making art out of popsicle sticks is how we do it in this house.

This is not my original work. I duplicated an art piece I found on Pinterest. It brings such a beautiful stillness to mind I thought about getting it tattooed on me somewhere.
I do like this idea of good rest being as important as hard work. I feel the mentality of many people prioritize working hard, "Are you working hard or hardly working?" I think it's important to take time to heal and take care of your needs first.
